A relief valve is found in any hydraulic system.
This valve is normally connected between the pressure line (pump outlet) and the tank.
They are designed to relieve pressure when a fluid exceeds a preset limit (set pressure). Its mission is to prevent the explosion of the protected system or the failure of equipment or pipe due to excess pressure.
